Adult Education College

Capital Normal University is one of the first universities that carries out adult education in Beijing. It started correspondence education in 1977, and evening college in 1981, and in 1983 it entered into the list of Beijing ordinary colleges and universities allowed to enroll students in the above stated two categories according to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Education (JCZ No.002). Now adult education grows rapidly, with an adult education system coming into being, which features multiple specialties, forms, levels and structures, comprising correspondence university, evening university, normal graduate/college and non-normal college-upgrading-to graduate, dual diploma, special certificate class, main courses for post-graduate and all types of training and short-term training sessions. The Adult Education College has cultivated a large amount of talents for all trades of the society.
