Laiguangying Rear Office

The predecessor of Laiguangying Rear Office is the branch of Laiguangying Rear Office of Beijing Normal College. In March 1986, Beijing Municipal CPC Committee and Government delivered a house property to the branch, which is located at Laiguangying village in Chaoyang district, occupying an area of almost 50mu with a building area of 5,000 square meters. Afterwards, it extended by 7000-square-meter buildings, and by 1992, all buildings had a total area of 12,000 square meters. The office intended to educate qualified middle school teachers for districts and counties located at suburbs of Beijing. The numbers of qualified teachers it has sent reaches up to 1022, including 293 graduates, from 1986's foundation to 1992's merger with Beijing Normal College.

After 1992, as a teaching place of Capital Normal University, it has always adhered to its original mission, which now offers such subjects as Chinese, Politics and Law, Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, etc.
