In order to enhance informatization and to concentrate on digital campus construction, Capital Normal University made a decision in July 2002 to have a Digital Campus Construction Center responsible for united leadership of informatization construction, which ensures the organization and implementation of digital campus construction. As a subordinate to the Capital Normal University, it is also an executive organ directly under educational informatization leading group. In compliance with requirements of the president of CNU, the center employs project-based management. A two-level management system involving Center and department is currently employed. The director of the Center is employed by educational informatization leading group. In terms of tasks undertaken, there are four departments in the center, with each department's director appointed by the Center director.
