The Trade Union Office with Capital Normal
University was founded in 1955.Since 1986, teaching staff
congress system with teachers as main body has been established,
and the presidium of teaching staff congress has been elected.
The Trade Union Office was appointed to manage the organization
of teaching staff congress and shoulder the related tasks.
According
to the opinion given by the university party committee, the
8th Associator Congress of Trade Union Office and the 2nd Teaching
Staff Congress were convened simultaneously (referred as the
two congresses for short) in 1990. During the two congresses,
the 8th Trade Union Office Committee and the 2nd Teaching Staff
Congress Committee (referred as two congress committee for short)
have been elected, thus " two congress" system has
been established in our university.
Capital Normal University was founded in 1993 and the 9th Trade
Union Office Associator Congress and the 3rd Teaching Staff
Congress were convened in 1996. The "two congress commissaries"
were elected on this session. The 10th Trade Union Office Associator
Congress and the 4th Teaching Staff Congress were convened in
Jan. 2001, and the new " two congress committee" was
elected.
Under the leadership of the university party committee, the
" two congress committee" earnestly carries out the
four functions of Trade Union Office and the related functions
of teaching staff congress, and plays its roles actively in
cooperation with the central tasks of our university. Meanwhile,
it has contributed much to the protection of legal rights and
enriching cultural life of teaching staff. It also plays an
important role in the reform, construction, development of the
university and maintaining the stability of teaching staff.
