Science & Technology Affairs Office

Science & Technology Affairs Office, under the leadership of the Party Committee and president of Capital Normal University, has been studying and implementing the guidelines and policies concerning science and technology issued by the central government. It is in charge of the formulation of Regulations of Scientific Research Administration to facilitate the all-round development of scientific researches. The major functions of Science & Technology Affairs Office are as follows:

1£® The institution and implementation of scientific research plans in the university;

2£® The organization and submission of scientific research projects. The Office shall make every effort to proceed with each submission channel and win more scientific research projects by optimizing the scientific manpower according to the university's scientific research development plans.

3£® The development of new technologies. Structural transformation in science and technology is supposed to be intensified and the intellectual property protection of scientific payoffs reinforced along with the steady development of fundamental researches. The Office shall adapt the management of research and development to the actual demands from social market economy development and promote the materialization of scientific and technological achievements.

4£® The planning and establishment of key specialities so as to facilitate their scientific researches.

5£® The layout and construction of key laboratories for scientific researches.

6£® Statistical and administrative operation of scientific payoffs; their organization and submission for relative awards.

7£® The promotion of academic exchanges at home and abroad. The Office shall exert itself to create a favorable atmosphere for scientific research and enhance the dissemination of scientific policies and research information.
