Office is a functional department under the leadership of university
party committee, the president and the guidance of higher-level
public security and departments, which takes charge of maintaining
the political stability and internal safety of the university.
It comprises comprehensive public security office, public order
office, fire fighting office, transportation office, secrecy
office, domicile office, north area office and security guard
group. |

The main task of Security Office is to perform investigation
and research of enemy's information, master necessary information,
maintain the stability of the university, strengthen the security
defence of the university and safeguard of the vital areas,
guarantee the normal order of teaching and research activities,
and create a favorable environment for the teaching reform and
development of the university.
All staff members of Security Office attach great importance
to the security work. Cooperating with their comrades, they
shall fulfill their tasks wholeheartedly and serve people warmly.
They shall stick to the guideline of " giving priority
to prevention, ensuing the security in key areas, striking criminals
and safeguarding the security", and give primary consideration
to the needs of teachers and students, make things more convenient
for them, protect their interest and go all out to offer a safe
environment for them. They shall live up to the requirements
of " on receiving any calls, rush to deal with any emergency,
help anyone who needs help and answer any claims received",
and thus to the largest extent satisfying the needs of the teachers
and students for security, guaranteeing the smooth proceeding
of teaching, research, production and development of the university,
and protecting the security of the common property of the university
and the living, life and property of the teachers and students.
